Taisho era Soldier’s Paybook (ID) – 21st Field Artillery Regiment

This type of Paybook (Identity Booklet for Soldiers) was used during 1912-1930. This I.D. belonged to Fukukichi Suzuki. He served with the 1st Company of the 21st Field Artillery Regiment of the 15th Division (codename Festival Division (祭兵団Sai Heidan)). During his service he was promoted to Artillery Superior Private. He received an award on June 10, 1919 but difficult to make out which. He did also receive the Good Conduct certificate on November 30, 1920. He mostly took part in training and excersises after World War I.
