Bataillon/ Füsilier-Regiment 22 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 5, 1945 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of II. Bataillon/ Füsilier-Regiment 22 of the 1. Infanterie-Division.
