Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52, the Ritterkreuz on March 26, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Staffelkapitän of the 5. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52, the Eichenlaub on July 20, 1944 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 52 and the Schwertern on April 21 ,1945 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 52. Claimed 237 victories!
