Hauptmann Helmut Haugk (24.02.1914 in Gelsenkirchen † 28.01.1992 in Gelsenkirchen) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on December 21, 1942 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer of the III. Gruppe/ Zerstörergeschwader 26 “Horst Wessel” (after 12 victories). Credited with 18 aerial victories.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
