Major Water Lux (24.04.1909 in Eydtkuhnen † 10.05.1984 in Dachau) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on September 26, 1942 with Infanterie-Regiment 517 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on July 10, 1944 as Major und Führer of the Grenadier-Regiment 316 of the 212. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
