Oberst Franz Weller (05.12.1901 in Berlin † 14.08.1994 in Köln) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 4, 1941 as Major und Führer of Infanterie-Regiment 54 and the Eichenlaub on October 23, 1944 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Jäger-Regiment 54 of the 100. Jäger-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
