Hauptmann Robert Alber (13.10.1906 in Baienfurt † 07.06.1988 in Böblingen) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 7, 1943 as Hauptmann und Führer of the I. Abteilung/ Panzer-Regiment 201 of the 23. Panzer-Division. Signed on the reverse.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
