Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Heinrich Südel. Oberleutnant Heinrich Südel (23.04.1920 in Wellspang † 12.08.2011 in Rösrath) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on September 25, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 7, 1945 as Oberleutnant und Beobachter & Ia of the I. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 55 “Greif”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
