Fregattenkapitän Heinrich Liebe (29.01.1908 † 27.07.1997) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on August 14, 1940 as Kapitänleutnant und Kommandant of the U-Boot “U-38” and the Eichenlaub on June 10, 1941 as Kapitänleutnant und Kommandant of the U-Boot “U-38”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
