Hauptmann Konrad Knabe (18.09.1915 in Weißenfels † 27.03.1996 in Memmingen) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on December 23, 1941 as Oberleutnant in the 1. Staffel/ 32 F-Kette and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 16, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kettenführer of the Fernaufklärungsstaffel Lappland/ Aufklärungsgruppe 124.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
