Major Karl-Heinrich Höfer (14.07.1911 in Oeynhausen † 02.01.1996 in Bad Oeynhausen) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 3, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 55 and the Eichenlaub on November 18, 1944 as Major und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 55.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
