SS-Sturmbannführer Josef Stigler (30.05.1899 in Bayreuth † 10.02.1982 in Erding) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on July 10, 1942 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the II. Bataillon/ Infanterie-Regiment 42 of the 46. Infanterie-Division. Size: 6,3×9,5cm.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
