Unteroffizier Georg Pankow (23.11.1913 in Friedensburg-Podejuch †06.08.2001 in Sankt-Augustin) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 31, 1943 as Obergefreiter und SMG-Führer in the 2. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 338 of the 208. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
