Major Georg Wenzelburger (22.12.1910 in Uhingen †18.01.2000 in Grafenberg) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on March 18, 1943 with Jäger-Regiment 56; the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on December 26, 1944 as Hauptmann und Führer of the II. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 1098 of the 549. Volksgrenadier-Division and the Nahkampfspange in Gold on February 18, 1945 with Grenadier-Regiment 547!
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
