Bataillon/ Infanterie-Regiment 186 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 6, 1942 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the I. Bataillon/ Infanterie-Regiment 186 of the 73. Infanterie-Division.
