Original Soldbuch of Gefreiter Panek, who succumbed to his wounds which he sustained in Kurland while serving with Grenadier-Regiment 438. He previously served with the Kriegsmarine and was a late transfer to the Wehrmacht. He was decorated with the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. He was most likely evacuated from Kurland to Denmark on a hospital on which he died or shortly after arriving in Denmark. Complete with photo!
