Original Soldbuch of Gefreiter Walter Spindler, who passed away as a Prisoner of War on August 26, 1945 in Merlebach. During the war, he served with the Reserve-Grenadier-Bataillon 32 & Grenadier-Regiment 1 and, very interestingly, he was equipped with the MP44! Throughout his service, he was decorated with the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen and Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. Also credited with 4 Nahkampftage. He’s buried in Reillon, France. Complete with photo!
