The recipient is identified as serving with Wehrkreis-Reit- und Fahrschule VII (Military District VII Riding and Driving School). The document is dated Munich, 30 January 1945, and was issued in the name of the Commander-in-Chief of the Wehrmacht.

The award was authorised by General der Infanterie Kriebel, acting as Deputy Commanding General of the VII Army Corps and Commander of Military District VII. The document features his printed name and rank, together with the official circular military service seal.

The lower section contains handwritten reference numbers for the award and the award list. The original document retains its period typography and paper.
