SS-Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS Heinz Lammerding (27.08.1905 † 13.01.1971) earned the Ritterkreuz on April 11, 1944 as as SS-Oberführer und Kommandeur of the SS-Panzerkampfgruppe “Das Reich”. He also the Nahkampfspange in Gold on October 15, 1943 as SS-Hauptscharführer und Zugführer in the 1. Kompanie/ SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 4 “Der Führer”. Good condition. Measuring: 9x13cm.

He commanded the SS Panzer Division Das Reich that perpetrated the Tulle and the Oradour-sur-Glane massacres in occupied France. After the war, Lammerding was convicted in absentia for having ordered the murder of approximately 750 French civilians, but remained protected by Germany after serving a prison sentence there.
