Oberleutnant Thilo Freiherr von Werthern (24.07.1912 in Coburg † 10.01.2004 in Hamburg) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 8, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Chef of 3. Kompanie/ Schützen-Regiment 394 of the 3. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
