Original Postwar Signature on a Wartime Postcard & Card of Erich Schopper. Generalleutnant Erich Schopper (02.07.1892 in Zeulenroda † 18.08.1978 in Minden) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on December 29, 1941 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzeson April 30, 1943 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 81. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
