Staffel/ Lehrgeschwader 1 and the Ritterkreuz on September 18, 1943 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 8. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 6. Good condition. Measuring: Postcardsize. Gapp ended up flying the Me-262, scoring several aerial victories over B-24s and downed one P-38 Lightning.
Original Postwar Signature of Walter Schuck. Walter Schuck, born on July 30, 1920 was a German military aviator who served in the Luftwaffe from 1937 until the end of World War II. As a fighter ace, he claimed 206 enemy aircraft shot down in over 500 combat missions, eight of which while flying the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter. Schuck earned the German Cross in Gold and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves while serving with Jagdgeschwader 5. He's also the author of "Abschuss!: Von der Me 109 zur Me 262". Measuring 11,7x17cm.
