Stunning interesting grouping of SS-Unterscharführer Bernhard Hagenauer, who served with 2. Kompanie/ SS-Schützen-Bataillon 6, which fought with the 6. SS-Gebirgs-Division “Nord” (the only Waffen-SS unit to fight in theĀ Arctic CircleĀ when it was stationed inĀ FinlandĀ and northernĀ RussiaĀ between June and November 1941. It fought inĀ KareliaĀ until theĀ Moscow ArmisticeĀ in September 1944, at which point it left Finland. It fought in theĀ Operation NordwindĀ in January 1945, where it suffered heavy losses. In early April 1945, the division was destroyed byĀ U.S. forcesĀ nearĀ Büdingen, Germany.)

  • Award document for the Nahkampfspange I. Stufe (Close Combat Badge in Bronze) for achieving 15 Nahkampftage (Close Combat days). Signed by SS-Sturmbannführer Ernst RƤdeke (Ehrenblattspange)
  • Award document for the Infanterie-SturmabzeichenĀ (Infantry Assault Badge) for 3 infantry assault days during his service. Signed by SS-Sturmbannführer Richard Benner (German Cross in Gold).
