Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Alfred Wettengel. Oberleutnant Alfred Wettengel (09.04.1917 † 16.12.2011) earned the Ritterkreuz on September 21, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Chef of the Stabsbatterie der I./ Artillerie-Regiment 60 of the 24. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
