Generalmajor Carl Wagener (23.12.1901 in Stanowitz-Schweidnitz † 06.06.1988 in Hannover) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on Februar 20, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 14, 1944 as Oberst im Generalstab und Chef of the Generalstab 1. Panzermee.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
