Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Georg Nietert. Feldwebel Georg Nietert (24.08.1908 in Semmritz-Schwerin † 08.05.1978 in Hannover) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 10, 1945 as Feldwebel und Geschutzführer in the 14. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 994 of the 278. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
