Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Gerhard-Georg Ziegler. Oberstleutnant Gerhard-Georg Ziegler (02.05.1896 in Rastatt † 13.07.1982 in Putzleinsdorf) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 12, 1944 as Oberstleutnant und Führer of the Grenadier-Regiment 353 of the 205. Infanterie-Division. Plus a letter.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
