German Female Worker Document Grouping – Eisenwerke Oberdonau – 1942–1946

The grouping provides an interesting glimpse into the life of a young German civilian woman during the Second World War and in the immediate post-war period.

The group is particularly appealing because it follows one individual across the wartime and immediate post-war period, with her original photograph and several matching documents preserved together.

The wartime ID is especially interesting because it documents her employment at Eisenwerke Oberdonau in Linz, an important wartime industrial complex, while the 1946 Kennkarte demonstrates her identification and circumstances shortly after the collapse of the Third Reich.

Original condition throughout, with expected age-related wear, folds, handling marks and patina. The documents retain their original photographs, stamps, signatures and other period details.
