Authentic pre-wartime, wartime and postwar personal Guestbook of Gauleiter Friedrich Karl Florian, who was was the Gauleiter of the German City of Düsseldorf. The guestbook was opened on July 13, 1937 and was signed ongoing from 1937, throughout World War II and even after his death. Many famous political figures of the Third Reich as well as highly decorated soldiers of the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe signed his guestbook during stays and visits at his house and, or city. The most notorious signature being an authentic Führer und Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler signature! Adolf Hitler signed his guestbook on October 2, 1937 when Hitler came to Düsseldorf and visited together with Gauleiter Florian and various other notable figures the “Reichsausstellung Schaffendes Volk“. Various photographs exist of this particular visit and also correspond with the signatures in his guestbook, such as Wilhelm Brückner, Julius Schaub, Dr. Karl Brandt, Albert Bormann, Otto Dietrich and Hans Baur.
On another page, authentic signatures from other famous notable Third Reich figures are presented, include that of Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Martin Bormann, Albert Speer, Sepp Dietrich and Carl Haidn. Other notable political / paramilitary figures, but not limited to, that signed are Karl Walter, Karl Overhues and Franz Bock.
Also highly decorated Luftwaffe personnel signed his guestbook: Adolf Galland, Walter Adolph, Rolf Pingel and Gerhard Schöpfel. Also Werner Mölders and his wife, Luis Baldauf, signed (with a few other unidentified signatures at moment at the same page). Also Luftwaffe General Johannes Hintz and in November 1944, highly decorated Fallschirmjägers, such as Rolf Mager and Friedrich von der Heydte signed.
Many more (unidentified) signatures are to be found within the book. The guestbook also contain a few photographs. This guestbook was always kept by the family, later on veteran circels and came recently only into our hands. Guarantee on all the signatures!
