Heinrich Gottke – SS-Flak-Abteilung 17 “Götz von Berlichingen”

Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Heinrich Gottke. SS-Oberscharführer Heinrich Gottke (07.07.1921 † 12.08.1998), earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes as Vorausbeobachter of the 3. Batterie/ SS-Flak-Abteilung 17 of the 17. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division “Götz von Berlichingen” on December 17, 1944.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
