Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Heinrich Meyering. Leutnant Heinrich Meyering (30.11.1919 in Leer † 13.07.2003 in Lohr) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 6, 1944 as Feldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 3. Staffel/ Schlachtgeschwader 2 “Immelmann”.
Heinrich Meyering completed a total of 972 combat missions with the Ju 87 and was one of the most successful Stuka pilots in SG-2. Ritterkreuz awarded after flying 895 sorties.
