Oberleutnant Heinrich Südel (23.04.1920 in Wellspang †12.08.2011 in Rösrath) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on September 25, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 7, 1945 as Oberleutnant und Beobachter & Ia of the I. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 55 “Greif”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
