Original Soldbuch, Stammkarte (and many more documents not photographed) of SS-Sturmmann Helmut Ide, who served as a Funker in the Stabsbatterie II./ SS-Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 12 of the 12. SS-Panzer-Division “Hitlerjugend”. However, at the age of 17, he was severely wounded during Operation EPSOM on June 26, 1944 when he was hit by Granatsplitter Hals und Brust and would died of his wounds on August 3, 1944 a few days before his 18th birthday! During his time with the Hitlerjugend, he was awarded the Hitlerjugend-Leistungabzeichen in Silber. Soldbuch is complete with photograpg! On the first page in red is written “Gefallen” (Killed in Action).
