Original commemorative badge issued for the Marine-Volkswoche in Kiel, 11–16 June 1935.
The vertically oval badge features a stylised architectural monument with radiating lines. The raised inscription reads “Marine-Volkswoche 1935 Kiel”, commemorating this public naval event.
The reverse retains its original pin fastening, with visible corrosion around the attachment point.
Condition: Shows age-related wear, scratches, oxidation and areas of finish loss. The pin fastening is present.
The Marine-Volkswoche was organised to give the public an insight into the German Navy through ship visits, demonstrations and other events. It also formed part of the regime’s public presentation of German naval rearmament.
