Krimschild Award Doc – Kanonier – Artillerie-Regiment 150
Original German Besitzzeugnis (award certificate) for the Krimschild (Crimea Shield), awarded to Kanonier Herbert Quierling, serving with 6. Batterie/ Artillerie-Regiment 150 of the 50. Infanterie-Division.
The certificate is dated A.H.Qu., den 29.8.1942 and was issued “Im Namen des Führers”. It carries the stamp of Generalfeldmarschall von Manstein.
The Krimschild was awarded to German personnel who had participated in the fighting during the Crimean campaign, making original award documentation an important part of collections relating to the Ostfront, Crimea and German Army campaign awards.
Condition
Original wartime document showing age-related discoloration, folds, creasing and handling wear. There are also two punched holes along the left margin, consistent with the document having been filed or stored in a binder. The printed text, typed entries, stamp and signature remain present.
