Original Fallschirmschützenabzeichen der Luftwaffe in Stoff (Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge in Cloth), featuring the characteristic embroidered diving eagle and swastika on a dark backing, surrounded by an oval wreath.
A nice patina which displays extensive wear and age-related deterioration. The wreath is heavily discoloured and worn, with visible losses to the embroidery and backing. The eagle retains portions of its original gold-coloured and light-coloured stitching.
The badge is offered together with a period black-and-white portrait photograph (Porträtfoto) of a Fallschirmjäger with one in wear.
