NSDAP Party Book from Hamburg – Gauschule

Official NSDAP Mitgliedsbuch (“Parteibuch”), version of 1935, belonging to Paul Herkt jr. (Merchant in Hamburg) with NSDAP Party Number #3042177. He joined the party on May 1, 1933 and the booklet was issued on 30. November 1935 (each member had to be a member for two years before he received his Party Member booklet). Complete with a ID Portrait Photograph. Parteibuch contains stamps from 1936 until 1939. Many Party Member books are barely filled out with extra annotations however this booklet contains an interesting notation that Parteigenosse Paul Herkt, took part in the 5. (Abend-Lehrgang ? = Evening Course) of Schulungsburg (Gauschule) in Hamburg, Ritterstrasse 44 from 25th April until 20th May, 1938. Party Book is in a nice condition.
