Historical Description
Extremely rare death card of an officer of the Légion volontaires française (LVF), französische Freiwilligenlegion gegen den Bolschewismus or Légion anti-bolchévique and later the Waffen-Grenadier-Brigade der SS „Charlemagne“ (französische Nr. 1). Martin Zach was Adjutant in the III./ französische Infanterie-Regiment 638 (see card with details of his death, which since recently became available on Ancestry by the German WASt).
