Ritterkreuz: “Awarded for his actions from the 18.01.1945 onwards. In this time his most notable achievements while leading his Kompanie included the rolling up of a Russian Pakfront from the flank on the 18.01.1945 and the capture of the village of Adony on the 21.01.1945.”
