GeneralleutnantWilhelm Schmalz (01.03.1901 † 14.03.1983) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on November 28, 1940 as Major und Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 11, the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on February 8, 1942 withKradschützen-Bataillon 59and the Eichenlaub on December 23, 1943 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Panzer-Division “Hermann Göring”. Condition as seen. Size: 9,6×6,5 cm.
