Press Photograph – Flemish Nursing Students – Occupied Belgium – WWII

IN STOCK

€100,00

An original wartime press photograph depicting a formal presentation involving a group of Flemish nursing students dressed in period nursing uniforms. The image captures an official shaking hands with one of the young women while the remaining trainees stand in formation, illustrating the structured training and organization of medical personnel in occupied Belgium during the Second World War.

The reverse bears the original Belga Press Photo Service (Brussels) stamp and names.

Press photographs relating to wartime nursing education and civilian medical organizations are considerably less common than military subjects and provide valuable documentary insight into everyday life and institutional activities in occupied Belgium.

Condition: Very good original condition with minor age-related handling wear. Reverse retains the original Belga Press Service stamp, handwritten identification, and period archive markings. An attractive and historically interesting original WWII Belgian press photograph.
