Oberfeldwebel Rudolf Trenkel (17.01.1918 in Neudorf † 26.04.2001 in Vienna) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 15, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on August 19, 1943 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 2. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
