Set SS-Kampfgruppe Patz (Awarded EK2 at Warsaw Uprising!) & Regiment “Westland”
Original Top & Rare Set of a Soldier (ultimately a SS-Unterscharführer) from the SS-Kampfgruppe/ SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Bataillon 3 that fought in the city of Warsaw during the Warsaw Uprising! He was decorated with the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse for his service during the Warsaw Uprising. His Soldbuch was also signed by SS-Obersturmführer Martin Patz (also called the “Butcher of Mokotow”) because of the liquidation of a lot of prisoners at the SS-Stauferkaserne (Read more here) (which was the barracks of this soldier’s unit and thus they were at the heart of the Warsaw Uprising). This soldier was also called up to serve as a Witness at Patz’ & Misling’ trial, however he never went and was fined a lot of money because of him not coming.

The set exist of his Soldbuch (complete but in very used condition, many lose pages and denazified). Award documents for the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse & Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. Paper for his promotion to SS-Rottenführer and a paper confirming his awards. Comes with copies of pages from his call-up for the trial, him not coming etc. After the Warsaw Uprising, he served with the SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment “Westland” of the 5. SS-Panzer-Division “Wiking”.
