Original Soldbuch & Wehrpass of SS-Rottenführer Ortwein, who served with the Waffenwerkstattkompanie “LSSAH” and SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 18 of the 18. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division “Horst Wessel”. No awards entered in the Soldbuch. Apparently, he had an accident while serving with the weapon’s armory of the LSSAH and was later transfered to the “Horst Wessel” Division, where he was Killed in Action on November 13, 1944.
