Original Soviet Order of the Red Star. The order was produced by Moscow Mint and has on the reverse serial number 2.289.372. Comes with its original backplate and the red enamel is completely intact. Condition as seen.

Via this serial number, it was researched, that this particular Order of the Red Star was awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel in the anti-aircraft branches Pyotr Dorofeevich Yakovenko on the April 30, 1947 for actions during World War 2. The order was awarded to him for the fact that he was separated from his units, he organized the defense of the battery, the easel machine gun was suppressed and disabled up to the enemy company.
