Original Scarce Wartime Studioportrait of a SS-Unterscharführer wearing the black Panzer wrapper with a “Hitlerjugend” cufftitle. Taken likely after the Normandy Campaign. He’s wearing the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen (as the “LAH” Panzer Regiment was largely created from the men of the LSSAH Infantry units – so likely he came from the LSSAH), EKII ribbon and also a ribbon bar.
