SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann “Buchenwald” (KZ) Soldbuch + Award Doc! (from Bombardement on Buchenwald!)

Soldbuch and Award document for a SS-Sturmmann / Gefreiter Josef Kirchner. The Soldbuch is complete and has a ID photo in it. He most likely (according to info in the Soldbuch) was transferred from a reserve Wehrmacht training unit to the SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann “Buchenwald”. Several stamps of Buchenwald as well as signatures from SS-Hauptsturmführer Schenk (not much known, in one of the books you’ll read he’s mentioned as leader of the Musikkorps) and SS-Obersturmführer Bruno Dembeck. Dembeck was notorious for torturing and killing inmates in Sachsenhausen, Dachau and Buchenwald. He died in December 1944, only two months after signing Kirchner’s leave entry. This comes with Kirchner’s award document for the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, which he was awarded for his wound(s) suffered on August 24, 1944 when the KZ Buchenwald was bombed!
