Original commemorative badge for the 12th Reichsfrontsoldatentag of the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten, held in Breslau on 30–31 May 1931. The badge also commemorates the 3. Reichsfahrt.
The striking design features a German eagle above a steel helmet, with an Iron Cross and banners bearing the inscriptions „XII. R.F.S.T.“ and „30./31. Mai Breslau 1931“.
An interesting commemorative badge from the Weimar Republic period, associated with one of Germany’s major First World War veterans’ organisations.
Condition: Noticeable oxidation, discolouration and surface wear. The reverse pin is broken.
