Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Walter Hornung. Oberstleutnant Walter Hornung (10.01.1910 in Heidelberg † 18.08.1980 in München) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 23, 1943 as Major with the 4. Staffel/ Kampfgruppe z.b.V. Wittstock and the Ritterkreuz des Eiseren Kreuzes on June 9, 1944 as Major und Kommandeur of the III. Gruppe/ Transportgeschwader 2.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
