Original Wehrmacht (Heer) Panzer Officer’s Visor Cap (“Schirmmütze”) which belonged to Oberstleutnant Max-Theodor Freiherr von Süsskind-Schwendi who most notably commanded the Panzerjäger-Abteilung 38, II. Bataillon/ Panzergrenadier-Regiment 304 and Afrika-Bataillon 28.

He was captured in Zaghouan, Tunis. Final promotion to Oberstleutnant on January 1, 1944. Added a biography page of him! Stunning pink-piped visor cap for officers with all its original insignia and name tag. Diamond within with the maker Militäreffekten Mützenfabrikation Josef Weithmann Augsburg. Stunning condition with a few small damages at 1 place in the piping (photographed) and on the visior otherwise near mint!  Condition as seen.
